Has anyone else thought of this? I am guessing so. My only comment is that this company is virtually unstoppable. They have the ability to take something that has been worked at and worked at by other who have failed, make it awesome and we all want it.
It just seems like a short time before they reveal there artificial intelligence iHuman or something. Well world I just want you to know I will be your John Conor… … … …

I am going to be honest, God of War 3 is the main reason that I bought a PS3 system and Darksiders is the reason that I decided to by one at the end of December. I was looking forward to this game for about a year and a half, and I am happy to say that it did not disappoint.
Many complain that this game heavily relies on what other games have done, and doesnt present anything new. To this I respond… yes. However Darksiders takes everything that made other games awesome and combines them to make this game fucking amazing!
If you enjoy playing games like: Devil May Cry, God of War, Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time, and Shadow of the Colossus
Then you should definitely pick up this game!
Darksiders is about 15 hours of story if you don’t spend too much extra time looking for hidden items and chests. The game throws you right into the action and you have a gratifying Boss battle within the first few minutes of the game. It took me about a week to play through and I only got frustrated once or twice.
I would have to say that on a whole Darksiders is a pretty easy game, which I actually dig. I have played too many games that make things too difficult that they quickly lose their fun value. My one complaint (or suggestion) is that the boss fights could have been a bit more difficult ESPECIALLY THE LAST 2 BOSSES!!!!!!
I also would have liked some quicktime sequences to go along with the final blows of the boss fight.
Overall Darksiders is a great game which I recommend to fans of the action adventure genre
this says it all
There sure are a lot of post apocalyptic movies out there these days, and like anything some of them work and some of them don’t. In my opinion Book of Eli works as long as you aren’t looking for anything serious.
As is the pattern lately, Book of Eli doesn’t offer any explanation of how the world ended We do however get hints that it involved a war over religions (like that’s never happened) and somehow (cough nuclear war cough) we destroyed the world. Okay so even though the movie eludes to there not really being anyone around who knows what happened, they pretty much give us a lot of hints of what happened. anyway…
After this religious war apparently they started burning bibles so this wouldnt happen again. Well in comes are two main characters. Eli is lone man making his way west to some kind of promise land. He has a copy of a King James Bible in his possession that he protects with his life and will kill anyone that tries to take it from him. He is apparently experienced in martial arts as he is able to quickly and violently kill people with his array of weapons (his favorite being a machete)
While passing through a town that is run by the evil Mayor (if you will) Carnegie, he has to fuck up some dudes because they try to steal his pack. Carnegie who is looking for a Bible (to control the people of this town and other towns with the oppressive power of religion) finds out that Eli is carrying the book.
From there the battle begins… and you will have to see what happens for yourself.
I thought the story was solid, and I appreciated the twist in the end because it was actually believable and enhanced the experience of the movie. There were a few pretty cool an action scenes with awesome effects, most notably is the first one where Eli is in the shadows fighting several guys at once. However there were also a few scenes where the CGI was very lacking making the screen look flat and scream green screen. I also garuntee unless you are under 10 you will roll your eyes at the very last scene.
All and all Book of Eli is a great popcorn movie with a few flaws but a solid story to offer. I especially enjoyed the Malcolm McDowell cameo at the end of the movie. I would recommend it for anyone who enjoys action movies with a solid story.
I give Book of Eli 3.5 / 5
Awesome poster art.
